Working with matter
The heart of the studio’s work is to transform matter into material, to make the gift of materiality to create a tangible object, part of the sensitive and the intelligible, apprehended by the body and the mind. Developed for the studio’s furniture, lighting and bas-reliefs, these ceramic shards are textured, then glazed, slip-coated or gold-coated in low-fire 3rd firing. This catalogue allows you to play with shapes, patterns and colours to create made-to-measure combinations.
