Gaou Benat sconces are composed of two textured, cut clay panels. When switched off, the wall light is a sculptural piece that highlights the shape, texture and glaze of the front panel. When switched on, the light emphasises the texture of the rear panel. Compositions can be made to order.
Lighting supplied for mains power or cord connection.

Lighting
Beyond its function, lighting is a plural, visual and tangible medium for expressing materiality. The light source reveals the textures of the ceramic by highlighting them in relief and in colour. Or it is switched off and the object becomes sculptural. It is then the form that is revealed against the light.
